After serving two years in the Oklahoma House of Representatives in House District 36, Eddie Fields was encouraged to run for the Oklahoma State Senate by friends, family and mentors. He was elected to his first Senate term of office on November 2, 2010 by the voters of Senate District 10, and reelected on November 4, 2014. He was elected by his peers to serve in Senate Leadership as Assistant Majority Floor Leader. He is proud to serve the state of Oklahoma, as well as the citizens of Osage and Kay Counties.
He seeks now to serve the entire state of Oklahoma as Lieutenant Governor.
“I love Oklahoma. I want to see her prosper and grow — from the oil fields and farms …to mom and pop businesses on Main Street … to the neon lights of the big city.”
What great day in Oklahoma as the much needed rain brings relief to our brother and sisters in western Oklahoma. Thank you to the men and women who have been battling the wildfires as our volunteer firefighters and thank you to our community fire departments as well. Thank you to those groups and individuals who are helping to assist those affected with farm and ranch supplies as well as food and clothing. It was great to be in the 89er Day Parade in Guthrie as I got a little wet handing out candy and visiting with the citizens of Guthrie. Headed back to Stillwater and Payne county on the campaign trail supporting the youth of our great state and our future leaders.
